Dognality: Kuzco is our favorite boy! He is priced higher because we want to keep him (we're keeping him)! Kuzco is a carefree happy go lucky kind of boy. He's cute and he knows it and often poses for the camera. He has the quintessential expressive and manipulative dachshund eyes.
Kuzco would make an amazing emotional support dog. He can tell when you need those extra deep cuddles on a hard day. He loves training and learning new tricks and could even be developed into a service dog.
Kuzco is so good at training that we often take additional time to teach him more complex tricks. He will retrieve and fetch on command. He is currently trained to the point of being able to retrieve a medicine baggie from a backpack side pouch with no issue. We do want him to be able to do this with simply the sound of an alarm from a phone. This would mean he is ADA compliant for medication retrieval.
Being as smart as he is, he doesn't bark or get bothered by other dogs. He is very conscious of what you would want him to be doing and will read the room for queues on appropriate behavior.
We want to keep him for longer, and thus the price is higher. His good behavior and obedience are ideal examples for training the next generation of puppies. His personality is ideal for this as well as he is eager to please and perform.
